Easy recipes with gnocchi

 Homemade Gnocchi Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain and let cool.
  2. Mash the potatoes into a smooth puree.

  • Knead the ingredients together until a soft dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into 4 portions. Roll each portion into a long rope about 1 inch thick.
  • Cut the rope into 1-inch pieces.
  • Roll each piece down the back of a fork to create ridges on one side and a depression on the other.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Drain the gnocchi and toss with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
