Achaar gosh masala recipe

 Achar Gosh Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg mutton, cubed
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Add the cubed mutton to the bowl and mix until well coated. Marinate for 1-2 hours.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan and add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and cardamom pods.
  4. When the seeds begin to crackle, add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
  7. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala powder over the meat and cook for a few minutes.
  9. Serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy
