Achaar gosh masala recipe
Achar Gosh Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 kg mutton, cubed
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 3-4 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cardamom pods
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and ginger-garlic paste.
- Add the cubed mutton to the bowl and mix until well coated. Marinate for 1-2 hours.
- Heat oil in a large pan and add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and cardamom pods.
- When the seeds begin to crackle, add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder over the meat and cook for a few minutes.
- Serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy
